Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1 1970) is an American performer, actor, and comedian. Most notable is her time as a regular cast member on the sketch comedy program of NBC's Saturday Night Live between 1996 and 2002. Since then, she's starred in ABC's Suburgatory, the TBS' People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer started out as a singing major at Northwestern University, and later switched her attention to theater study when she joined the improv group on campus.
