Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a wealthy family. The youngest of three siblings. While in a convent, she discovered an obsession with the arts. After a couple of years after that, she was able to return to the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. But in the absence of motivation she decided she needed an absence and planned to give 10 months to recover. In a cafe with her fellow students in a caf where a photographer walked in, she was demanded to become a model. She agreed, thinking she could take the money to pockets money. Within a short time, she was employed professional as a model. Modeling contracts led to commercials, and she was able to travel the globe. An agent noticed the work she was modeling and encouraged her to take up acting. The director sent her to London aged 19 which was where she won an audition to appear in the new James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). Her love for acting was such that she pursued a career in the same direction. Following her debut film and a short film, she filmed a couple of TV shows in London and in Dublin However, her major break came when she was in the role of Aryan Seductress in Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
